hello,
wondering what everyone's running for their exhaust. looking for a good cat back. something that's not too loud at cruising speed (hwy).
i've heard good things about Stromung, AA and the UUC RSC36 and TSC3.
i want something throaty and loud during acceleration, but on the highway, i don't want my passenger's having a bad ride.
i know this threads come up a bunch but it doesn't seem like anyone's too concerned with their friend in the car.:)
any help would be appreciated.

ive been running the eisenmann racing muffler with track pipes for lil over 1.5 years now and its a great exhaust extremely quiet at idle and very quiet while driving round but nice and loud at WOT. it is expensive but i absolutely love mine and the install was easy was done in under an hour and that was with having to run to the parts store to buy a new exhaust hangar.

forgive my nooBness...
i have checked out their website and the seem really nice.
so this is not a cat back system correct?
what happens to your O2 sensors if you do track pipes and muffler system?
and any performance gains over a cat back system?
thanks

The Stromung is a great compromise. It's deep, throaty, kind of loud with 0 drone.

the eisenmann exhaust is cat back as long as you order the track pipes to go with the muffler. the track pipes bolt directly to the cats and makes the install very easy and quick. without trackpipes you would have to custom make a pipe to go between the cats and the muffler. like i said it is an expensive exhaust and there are other cheaper ones but with the track pipes it is a direct replacement for the stock exhaust cat back.

yes i paid that much and i bought it off of eisenhaus.com but if i had done more research before i bought the exhaust i would have just drove to stuggart and picked it up cause i was stationed in germany at the time and i paid like $150 in shipping.

I only wish my exhaust would annoy passengers enough to not ride with me. I hate having full back seats.
