Is it necessary to disconnect everything in order to adjust the slip ring?
The two T30s in the back of the steering wheel should make the airbag pop off and I could just press the white latch to move the slip ring, right?
I'm reading 2.5 turns (or simply turn all the way in one direction and then count 2.5 turns in the opposite).
I installed a new steering wheel and the wheel now clicks only when I signal AND allow the steering wheel to turn off the signal. There's a click a few degrees before you get the final "chirp" that resets the signal.
If I don't signal but turn the wheel, it does not make any noise regardless of how far I go. I'm pretty sure its the slip ring. It will not make any noise as long as I don't let the signal reset itself.
Here's link of what I'm talking about.
