Hey Jonathan, yeah, she's staying put...deal is that I can mod it (within reason) and my parents use it as a beater :az:
Nick....yeah, I need to drop mine a further ;)

wern't you selling your car?
TheBestCow
02-15-2003, 04:53 PM
Chris,
Looks great man. But a beater for your parents? I don't think so son! If you're dropping that kind of cash into a vehicle, make sure you get to keep it... especially if you're going to be throwing a suspension on there (at least $700 + install cost if you don't do it yourself). I say you just keep it and do the tranny swap eventually. Just my .02.

FissionX: Yes, the car was this much >< sold only for the buyer to back out...I decided to keep it after all that fuss ...kind of glad I did b/c my gf loves this car :D
Kevin: My mom drives a 2000 s500 and my dad a 2001 X54.4i and I drive mine...tell me....on a rainy day, what car do you think they'll take ;)...hence it's their beater :)....plus they're nice an pay for gas and my insurance while they're at it so I'm not one to complain...:devillook
Bimmer9938: You're correct
Igotmy18's: I host my pictures on my comcast website thingie ;)

don't worry, amir's (my brother) fell out doing like 90. They're pretty expensive though, try circle or pacific if you want OEM or go with JTD's.

Where in Poromac do you live..? My dad lives in Potomac as well.

Hmmm, I live off Glen Mill Rd towards the Rockville direction...near Boswell Rd....development is rather new....(big powerlines run behind us)

Chris, the car looks great. I'd say the only reason I'm planning on getting or making an underpanel since mine fell off a couple of years ago is because without it the engine bay gets pretty dirty.

Hey how much did you pay to get your mouldings painted?
Preppy
02-17-2003, 11:18 AM
Joe: thanks bro, your car has progressed along a lot better than mine has (330 engine swap beats me hands down ;)) keep up the good work on your car dude! :D
Mlife: we painted the moldings ourself when we painted the front and rear bumpers and eyelids...

Your car is very clean and looks great man. I sort of know where you live.. Dont know the Potomac area that well. My dads lives off of Democracy Rd. By the Montgomery Mall (like 6 mins away)
Keep working on that car.. Are we going to see some power upgrades in the near future? :dunno
Preppy
02-17-2003, 05:43 PM
No power upgrades unfortunately...thats what happens when it becomes the parents "beater"....but give me two years...I'll get something new then :evil2
Yeah, I'm a little ways from Democracy and the mall....about 10mins...
Thanks for kind words bro :)
