Set of 4 BBS RC's 18 x 8.5. Wheels are in amazing shape - NO curb rash. Wheels are straight and true. These wheels are discontinued and are some of the best looking wheels for BMW's, not to mention their light weight. BBS publishes them as 18.5 lbs per wheel. I have had them for around 3 years on my weekend car (328is with H&R sports - no spacers req'd) - NOT on my daily driver. Wheels have seen very little rain and NO snow or ice.
The wheels are 95% perfect. What's the 5% that's not perfect? 1. There is a slight scratch on one of the wheels that is two inches long on one of the wheels (shown below). This did not penetrate the clear coat and is only cosmetic. 2. On another wheel, the clear coat peeled up in one area where a local detail shop started to use some harsh wheel cleaner - they stopped after just applying between one spoke, but some clear coat still came up. It has been 2 years since that happened and there has been no further peeling than what you see below. You CANNOT notice this standing more than 2 feet away from the wheel, you have to look up close to notice. I have taken a picture at night to show below (you can barely see it during the day, to be fair I took the pics of the clear coat at night).
The other 95%: I get constant compliments on these wheels - they make any BMW stand out from the crowd. I am VERY reluctant to sell, but need the money. The pictures below of the wheels on the car were taken just 3 weeks ago - see for yourself.
They are currently mounted on a staggered setup with Toyo RA1's: 225/40 18 in the front and 245/40 18's in the rear. The front's have 40% tread remaining (at least 6-7 track days) and the rear's have 20% remaining (at least 4 track days).
These wheels were $479/piece brand new. Most of you know how much RA1's are new: $250/each for the 225's and $270/each for the 245's.
I am selling the set of wheels and tires for $1400. This price does not include shipping (est. $100 depending on area - I'll get exact quote with zip code). If you are local in the DC area I am more than willing to meet half way. Please email for more information: hueydumps@yahoo.com.
