I just picked up an Black M-sport that is fantastic but I know the suspension needs a little TLC. I'm anal that way anyhow so I want to rebuild the whole setup. Where do you guys like to buy parts? Bavauto, RealOEM, bmaauto? Who would you recommend?

I found in the service history that one shop believed the 55-60mph "shimmy" to be due to the fact that both rear rims are bent (not sure about that one). Does anyone have reconditioning experience with thewheelexchange.com? I love t-stars and I would love to get these looking new again.

Lastly, after a little clean-up I noticed that the calipers are red (under all the brake dust), does anyone know if that is factory or have they been painted?

thanks in advance.

in my experience, www.autohausaz.com has the cheapest prices. They also have free shipping on orders >$50. I don't believe the painted calipers are factory, but I'm no expert.

+1 on autohaus. I've bought a lot of maintenance things from them, but no suspension parts from them. I usually go thru Steve Haygood, automobilesolutions.com is his website. Greaqt guy to do business with.

bavauto.com has a lot of good parts also. They can be a little high but the parts will not fail due to crappy quality.

BMA is usually pretty good to deal with too. They have an upper thrust arm with a 750iL bushing already pressed in for like $105 I think. Also free shipping from them for orders over $50.

Oh, and where did you get that M-sport from? Was it in Raleigh, or did you have to travel for it? Manual or auto?

Thanks, that's not bad for $105...

I picked it up near Richmond, Va. It's cosmos/light gray 6 spd

I would not go with the 750 bushings IMO... I just installed a set about a month ago and the right one already blew.

... and yes I know how to install them correctly.:D

My next set are either going to be urethane or Dinan.
