What type of chrome and size for my 94 325ic vert?

I am breathing life back into my 94 red 325ic with tan in with black top. I am cloning it to look like an M3. So my question what type of chrome rims are out there that members have used? I am also debating what size, 17" or 18"?

No chrome. Doesn't look right IMHO. A set of black wheels would look sweet with the red and black on your car
