Will be selling these now and should have some positive responses as I have mailed some out to some members here that are going to test them out for me! I know you guys trust my judgement but my opinion is biased!!! I love this to death and it feels better than my older Weighted Knob in my 99 M3. I will be installing of the of 5inch ones in the M3. It feels GREAT in my e30 with a custom z4 2.5 shifter.

Pictures of the Levers available(Please PM for custom length) Please also do not hesitate to PM me with questions or concerns. I do have many available and they are ready to ship. Bear with me as it is not my day job :)

paypal preferred: muddywrangler4x4@comcast.net

Accepts Check/Money Order - Cash - Paypal Does Accept the Credit Cards!!!

Works great with short shift kits. Helps eliminate notchiness(is this a word?) of extreme short shifters.

50 Shipped

This fits all OEM BMW shifters or all aftermarket shifters I have tried that accept OEM knob. *Actual Lever is NOT white like in my e30*

No waiting - items are available!

i definently wouldnt be worried about this thing pulling off while shifting, and i doubt itll get loose after removing it a few times.

Got mine today. Very snug fit. It's not going anywhere.. Haven't had time to go for a drive but I can tell it's going to be a nice improvement. Helps with the SSK for sure. Now I just want one in leather..

are these weighted?? and are these as easy as replacing the OE shift knob?

These do not need to be weighted. The weighted knobs make up for short shifters with the weight. These make it up with the length with leverage :)

Install:

Remove OEM Knob by pulling up with a quick jerk.

Unplug if it is lighted OEM Knob

Slide the new race lever over the shifter and shimmy it back and forth while applying constant force. It will bottom out and you are all set!

I have sold to drifters, auto-x etc and no one has pulled one off during quick driving!

so, you buy a ssk to make the shifting shorter.

then you buy this, to make the shifting longer?

:rolleyes

I wont increase the length of the throw, you just have more leverage

Atleast I think, I've never used one. I assume you can shift faster with the knob being closer to your hand during racing.

I have the 5" version in my car, and with my Z4 2.5 lever, I feel it's the PERFECT match. Yes, it increases throw as it is adding more length to the longer side of the lever. If you added this much length to the stock lever - imagine how stupidly long the shift throw would be. IMO, it's still a bit shorter that stock throw in my E30, but it's much closer to me as the driver, and it's smoothed out any of the notchiness of the SSK.
