Ok so im in the dealership service office as I type this. They're telling me my front two rims are dented from the E39 I JUST BOUGHT and thats why when I go over 50mph, I feel a wobble. Im thinking instead of buying 2 new rims for 800 from them, I might as well get a whole new aftermarket set. Besides the dude was telling me the stock rims are real weak and we know how NYC potholes can be a bitch.

So what are some good rims to get. Maybe 18's that leave some space for meaty tires. Must be black with chrome lip. Any links to sites would be great. Im new to this so work with me here. Next will be audio questions. Thanks in advance

Tirerack.com is a start, then search thru the E39 5 series subsection for threads

what about some MRR wheels. The GT1 wheels look nice on the 5. Give me a PM, I can forward you to a retailer that can hook u up.

I have a dent in one of my wheels and also had the same issue. I started only using the wheel in the back and I don't feel the wobble anymore. Its something to try if you don't have a staggered setup.
