OK, I got the thing all jacked up, got the wheels off, and I'm ready to get the old shock assemblies out, but how the hell do you access the rear shock mount bolts in the Touring?
One thing is in the way, the right trim panel, which is the vertical carpeted panel (not the one that flips open). Bentley says to simply remove the sturt upper mounting bolts, but it gives no clue as to how to access those bolts, in a sedan or a touring.
Realoem.com shows the panel, and says it has a 'Fillister Head Self-Tapping Screw' holding one spot, but what I have is a couple of plastic pop-rivets, that are impossible to remove, plus something holding the panel on near the spring-loaded flip out clip at the front bottom.
WTF?!?! Why can't they use godforsaken regular screws on this thing?!?!
Any quick help is appreciated.
