Here are some numbers I have collected from various sources...note that some items may change.

- 70 Mini showrooms to be built in the US
- overall length is 141.6", width 66.4" (16" longer than original Mini)
- expected in US by March 2002
- color choices will include at least 10 different shades
- will be assembled in Oxford, England
- engines built jointly with DaimlerChrysler in Brazil
- weight approx. 2200 lb.

Mini Cooper - 1.6L 16 valve four cyl. => 120-125 HP (~$18,000)

Mini Cooper S - 1.6L 16 valve four cyl., supercharged => 155 HP (~24,000)

Mini (base, Europe only) - 1.6L 16 valve four cyl. => 90 HP

put a loud exhaust on and you have a buzz-bomb of a car......
