and how do you think they will look on a '94 540i.

They are OEM off of a '02 740. Fronts are 19x9 and the rears are 19x10. Offset is 24 ET. I know that they will need rings to fit the hub. Rims are in great shape and the ires are about 50%. They want $400 for the set. Do you think I'll have rubbing issues or not.
Thanks

They should fit, allthough I think you will have rubbing problems at the front.
You defently can NOT use the tires, used under the E38.
Hub rings aren't nessacery. E38 and E34 have the same hub and offset.
So, if you go for it, you have to have the correct tire sizes!

A 2002 7 series (in the States) is either an E65 or E66 and should be a 745i/Li/760Li.
Ditto...The hub is the same on all 5/6/7/8/Z8 BMWs (72.56mm) EXCEPT the E39 5 series which has a 74.1mm hub.
And YES...the TIRES from the 7 series are too large for the e34...if you use any tire size calculator...it will let you know this: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
Ditto...The wheels aren't going to be your problem in this scenario...its the tires that are the WRONG size.
And if you do get these and mount the correct size tires...please post pics...I have never seen these wheels on anything other than the e38/e65/e66 7 series.

My concern would be that being 19's and then having to use tires with even a shorter sidewall won't this render you an extremely harsh ride?

19s are way too big. They look good otherwise.

As you can see, it won't fit. This is a front wheel which I just let stand in front of my own rim, to see how it would look like.
Would look great though! But I think 19" is just to big...

I've seen e34's with 19's... It's all in having the proper OD.
But I hope you have smooth roads where you live and no frost heaves etc. Cause your tires are gonna be rubber bands. 245/35/19 I think. Thats a sidewall height of only 3.4" compared to 3.9 with 18's.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am passing on these because W. Pa. roads are the pits literally. At 400 a set I was almost willing to take the chance. Well back to hunting up some 17's.
Thanks and Peace

265/30/19 would be more accurate!
So... If you look to ride on horsecarrage wheels... :buttrock :D

they will fit, I see one about twice a week, Besides the fact that they are chrome, they look pretty good on the e34.

As you can read in his first post, he can buy rims WITH tires for an E38.
The rims will fit but the TIRES don't fit.
That's what I ment.;)

They are stunning, and if you put the right suspension and tire size it isn't that bad. I had 19's and ride was horrible but they do get bent rather easily.
