I also have this exact same car and color combination. I think that this is one of the best Bimmer color combos ever! Good luck selling. I thought my 50k was low miles!:D

Any word on why the left rear is jacked up a bit?

(see pic I posted above)

I do agree, that is a stunning color combination.

No offense but just so MRyder and everyone else dont get so excited that they have a wet dream over this, the car was hit in the rear and has a salvage title in Cali which the poster mentions in his post on DTM after people asked questions. I dont doubt that you would have disclosed this info since you did when questioned on DTM but your wasting peoples time by trying to push a 22,000 mile 95 M for 17 grand and not saying it's been dirtied.

Hey man, I just posted the car as the members rides car. I didnt put it in the for sale thread. Its cool that you post things that everyone knows already, its nice having an echo around here. No offence ofcourse. Just posting things that everyone knows. Cheers. :buttrock

Thanks for the info, I agree that he should be more upfront about it (maybe include it in the first post?).

I don't know if your being carcastic but let's address some things. The fact that you posted this thread in members rides vs the forsale thread has little bearing on your intent to sell the car. In your first post, you clearly say the car is for sale. Secondly, you say its cool that I post things that everyone knows already and then you mention the echo thing which is where I percieve the asshole comment directed at me. The reality is that NO ONE @ BimmerForums knew that this car was salvaged, and you know why, cause you never disclosed it in this thread. You didn't even disclose it on DTM, you only mentioned it when asked by an inquisitive DTM member. Further proof is the amount of interest your car garnished by the members who have posted in this thread. The reason why is because they saw a 22k mile Avus Blue 95 M3 for sale for a mere 17,000 dollars. Chris (MRyder) even asked you where you were located and he even owns an M3 already (perhaps he was interested in acquiring it because of its exceptional price). Hell, for a clean 22k mile Avus Blue 95 M3 for 17,000 I would have you ship it to me and I would resell it in the spring for 20,000 (and I am the ultimate lowballer of pricing). Ofcourse the keyword here is CLEAN. Had you posted that the car had a salvaged title, people would see that your asking price of 17,000 is somewhat high compared to what other salvaged title M3's go for and considering the stigma attached to salvaged cars. Clean 95 m3's with 70k miles are going for 16,000 right now. I think everyone that posted in this thread will agree that they though this car WAS a steal because they thought the title was clean.

Sorry JOSE, I guess you didnt get the email Ive sent to you to check the ad once again, b/c the VIN is there. I also said for you to call me up. I dont have time to answer all emails I get w/ personal questions about the car. Thats why I said to call me up and ask questions personally. Secondly, I never even thought you or a Jose will buy the car. I get many calls about the car, wether they know about the title or not. So if you are mad, then lay off. I'm sure you will find a cleaner car with lower miles, and nicer paint. And for you guys to talk about the car that you had never seen is a little unfair. The least you can do, is examine what happened, and at least look at the car before saying anything. If I had offended anyone, then I'm sorry, I have to protect whats mine.

DTM,

Why not come clean, and try to save face at this point? Clearly you came on here trying to be slick, and pawn this off as a clean M3 for a bargain price. Bottom line is this is probably the WORST place to try to scam potential buyers, b/c we all know the cars and their values better than anyone. With a salvage title, your car isn't worth a penny over 10, 11K.....and that might be on the generous side.

If you're gonna continue to talk junk about not "trying to hide anything" I suggest you take that noise elsewhere.

Good looking out 2Pak! ;)

When I posted up the car here. My intensions were to showcase the car as a "Members Ride". I just said it was for sale, I never thought anyone here would even buy it. Since this a bimmer forum, people here would have bimmers already. People who do not, would most likely not buy it from anyone on the forum, since everyone's price is high. I didnt post up my email, or phone #, or anything on the original post. I simpley said its for sale. Questions inquiered by forum members led to the revieling of the salvaged title. About the dishonest sellers issue, like I said before in the email to julio, please call for info. Sorry it led to severe confusion by members.

Your main problem is that you can't admit that your wrong about what you did. Instead, you try and pass it off as us being the problem, that somehow we were confused. The reality is that posting your BMW, especially an e36 M3, whose cult status is appreciated on an even higher level on bf and dtm, is a smart thing to do. If I were to sell my car, DTM and Bimmerforums are two places I would post first to sell it. People do have bimmers on this board, a lot of posters do not but are looking to get one (case in point 87eclass). In many cases, people with bimmers are looking to upgrade to an e36 M3. Saying people are most likely not to buy from anyone on the forum because their price's high makes little to no sense. Each person has their own pricing objective and even then, every price is negotiable. Not posting your email address or phone number isn't gonna help anything either, that just makes it harder for us to unravel the truth. Your new to BF and I think the smart thing to do is just say hey guys, I tried to be slick and you guys nailed me to the wall and end it with that instead of saying well I wasn't really trying to sell it because I posted in the members rides or I wasn't trying to sell to be dishonest cause I didn't put my phone number up etc.

Well, thats is your personal thought. I never tried to be "slick", its just the events that followed maid it seem that way. If I were to try to be slick, I would of came up with a little better idea than posting it on your forum.

This guy is a classic...

The rear end damage is probably also the reason for the jacked up rear end mentioned earlier. Another lie. Wait. Maybe you got hydraulics on that thing? If so, $17K is a good deal.

People who lie should be banned. You sound just like Bill Clinton - "Sure I never admitted it, but they never asked!"

It's IMPLIED when you're selling a car that unless you say it was wrecked that it isn't. You know that.

It was considerably shady for him not to reveal the fact that the car has a salvaged title, but I'm sure if you were interested in the car he would divulge every detail about it.

Aside from that, I've seen the work that his body shop has done first hand and it is quite impressive. The way they transformed that demolished 328 into a flawless piece of work is staggering.

It seems like a number of bf.c threads lead to constant harrassment. If you don't know all the facts, keep your mouth shut. Rather than criticizing others, just leave it alone. If you are stupid enough not to check the VIN number before you purchase a car, you shouldn't have the right to know the history of the car anyway. Bring on flamming. I'm ready.

STJOBS- take it easy.
