Hi All,

If you saw my post in the E36 forum you already know that I won two bids on Ebay for HID kits(9006's). I was really pleased with the price I got but I promised the vendor I wouldn't disclose what I paid. I linked to my auctions on the post in the E36 fourm and the prices are there for all to see if you want to check it out.

Well, I just saw a post on the Roadfly forums for a place called ProCarParts.com. There prices seem very low.

ProCarParts Website (http://www.procarparts.com)

They have the Philips kit for 399 bucks. I did pay less than that for mine, but if you are looking for an affordable way to get HIDs at a good price then you night want to check it out. The Philips kit also comes with a 5 year warranty and the kits I got only have a 1 year warranty.

Here is a link to the kits. They have others as well for those of you that need the H1 or whatever.

HID Kits at ProCarParts (http://www.procarparts.com/store/displaycategoryproduct.cfm?pcategory=Lighting&psubcategory=Phillips%20Real%20HID%20Kit)

btw...I am just posting this because I know a lot of people are interested in these lights at the right price. This is the lowest price I have ever seen for a decent HID kit and if I didn't buy mine from Ebay yesterday I would have ordered this kit.

This is not really a group purchase but if they really have them in stock and are willing to sell them at that price then there really is no need for a group purchase anyway.

If anyone does order from them I'd like to hear about the kit...quality, ease of ordering, ease of installtion, time it takes to receive delivery, etc.

Thanks and good luck.

Let me know how the installation went. I'm thinking about the Phillips kit but am a little concerned with the installation. TMS has a plug and play kit for about 200 bucks more.

:D
