225/35/18 and 245/35/18 sounds good if you're looking for a stretch.

Wheels that big are useless on that car, unless you're either A) pushing serious boost or B) want to make it a show car.
You can fit anything from 225s to 265s on a 9 inch wheel and probably up to 315s on an 11. You haven't told us the offset of the wheels, your suspension, or the fender work you're willing to do, so I told you some sizes that would work.

hold on here, where did you get your wheel sizes from?
did you mesure or is it stamped on the wheel?
reason i ask is to get your width you measure inside the beads.
im thinking these may be 18x8 and 18x10s.

define "upgrade". what exactly are you trying to do?
Wheels that big are useless on that car, unless you're either A) pushing serious boost or B) want to make it a show car.
They would hurt for A).

what makes you think that "fits"? doesn't even look close. its off by inches.

because if i use a 245 tire if i will let say hit a bump it will tuck i like the euro look where the rim sticks out i just dont want to have rubbing issues so what tires are the widest i can go with

Go to you're local ghetto tire shop, get some crappy used tires in some sizes and try some out. Everyone has gave you their opinion. If you want the euro look, go with the stretch like said above and then tuck with MASSIVE amounts of camber. Good luck man.

its more than just the width. you have to worry about the offset as well, and those wheels are sticking out too far.

What is the offset?
I run 17x10 et13 which is VERY extreme and I have ALOT of rear fender work done and they still rub over large bumps.
I run 235/40 on my 10's in the rear BTW
I am betting-
You will not make them fit.
You will rub.

They will not fit without major body work.

what if i do this
18x9 : 245 35 18
18x11 : 285 30 18
and roll the fender whats the worst that can happen

oK. You seem to be asking a question and you are getting answers but not listening.
Since I have been building wheels for awhile and have learned a little about fitting wheels on a car you are not supposed to, I am a decent authority on this.
Lets put this in perspective.
A stock 95 M3 came with wheels 17x7.5" et 41 in the rear.
Your wheels are 18x11 et 25 (guessing here)
That is about 2" taller than stock, they will stick out 3.5" more on the rim and about 1" on the offset = 4.5" more poke than stock.
How do you not see this being a problem with a wheels that sticks out 4.5" more than stock???? My wheels stick out 3.5" more than stock and with the fender work I have done they still rub over big bumps and they are 17x10's!!!!!!
Good luck with 18x11's.
Again, you have asked a question and gotten an answer. Now shut up.
If you have the $$$$$$, buy the tires and try and make it fit if you dont believe us.
You want stretch?
18x9 : 225 35 18
18x11 : 255 35 18
Man up and do it!
James
You realize what your doing to the performance of your 328 w/ an 11inch rear wheel right?
