long trips

I'm an owner of a e30 and I'm sure there similar to the minis (tight body's and short wheel base) but when my Mom was looking at a mini, but she was turned away when she herd that they were uncomfortable on longer trips. is this true? if so are the newer one the same way?

No more so than my 2000 M-coupe. Any short wheel base will give you the bouncing over rough roads. If you want a really smooth ride go with a longer wheel base and different suspension.
