I am new to this forum and have done a fair amount of searching/research, but am looking for some help. I have a 2004 330Ci with the sport package - 18 inch rims. Current tires are Michelin Pilot Sport: 225/40zr18 front; 255/35zr18 rear. Nearing 30K miles, and the rears are at the wear bar.

I live in Baltimore, Maryland - not the snow belt, but enough snow/ice to give me a few white knuckle grips while driving this past season. So I think I want to go the all-season route (I live in an apartment and have no room to store a set of rims/tires).

Been to tirerack.com and there are 3 options in my size: Kumho ECSTA ASX, Pirelli PZero Nero M&S, and Yokohama ADVAN S.4. Ratings/test results seem pretty good on all three - so I am looking for some help:

1) any personnal recommendations/advice on these tires would be great!
2) what can expect in terms of mileage from these tires?
3) if I go this route, do I need to replace all 4 now?

I am not a super aggressive driver, so while handling is important I will not be taking the car to a track. I drive about 50 miles round trip each day to/from work - so I would like to get good mileage out of my purchase.

Thanks in advance,

- Ron.

Ratings and test results on the PZero Nero M&S are better than the Kumho. Didn't check on the Yoko. I ordered a set of the Pirellis but cancelled due to backorder. Based on the ratings and comments, I would go for the Pirellis. But if you're cheap, the Kumhos should work fine. My brother's got the Kumho ASX on his E39. Nice quiet ride (Pirellis rate better in this regard too based on reviews) but I find the sidewall design looking kinda cheesy.
