What did you guys actually pay for your Cooper S?

I want to know what they are actually going for. A friend is seriously considering buying one, and John Roberts BMW/MINI in Dallas quoted him 2k above list price. Is that about right?
Include your options if you could, and where you live.
If all goes well, we'll be looking at an Austin-SanDiego two-man road trip in that baby pretty soon!:clap:

Thanks man... that's really all I'm looking for: how much (if at all) above MSRP did you pay? Just trying to get a feel. So far, from a few other boards, this is the info I have:

$22,000 fully loaded (location?)
$19850 (Hawaii)
at MSRP (Scottsdale, AZ)
MSRP + $350 delivery charge (Long Beach MINI... "all other dealers in L.A. charge over MSRP")
'a little' over MSRP + $350 delivery charge (Long Beach MINI)
$3000 over MSRP (+ 1 yr wait... San Francisco)
'well over' MSRP (just about every dealer in CA... that's the consensus, it seems)
at MSRP (Motorwerks MINI in Minneapolis, MN)
at MSRP (MINI of the Hamptons... Southamptons, NY)

Seems like buying them in Hawaii and having them shipped to CA for $600 is a smart thing to do.

I paid 600 over MSRP in Richmond, and received the mats and 2 details a year for three years.
