Any names are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

Yes, great referral. Super Tuning Performance in Van Nuys.

How much experience do they have with european cars/BMWs in general? I know it's not a huge part (or necessarily "any" part) of welding on an exhaust...but I'd like to know they've worked with higher quality cars than the common rice rocket

Hey Matt,

You can check out a guy that I have used for years. It's King Muffler in Van Nuys(on Oxnard). I had a custom design for my Lamborghini. I brought him all the components, & he did the rest. He's cool with you bringing in your own parts if you want(assuming that you are bringing him stuff that is proper & will work). Very reasonable prices & pretty quick.

Mickeys Muffler & Brake in Woodland Hills is good. He is right across Auto Gallery, behind the detail shop on Ventura. He does work for Northridge Toyota, Vista Lexus, Vista Ford and Vista Lincoln. He does great work and quick. I can get you his number if you want. He did an excellent job on my M3 last week. Plus he does a lot of BMW/Audi work.

Here is the address to the place: Micky's Muffler & Brakes, 20968 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills. It says One block West of De Soto on his business card. The owners name is Vic. Phone number: 818-346-2266.

My exhaust is guaranteed to arrive by this Friday...I'll probably call King Muffler and see what I'm quoted first, then branch to the others if I don't like what I hear lol

I'll get some vid and pics.

He's very reasonable, but he may not be able to give you an estimate without seeing the parts & your car first.:dunno

How much was your custom stuff (just to get an idea of what he charges for custom, and downrate it for regular)

Edit - you have any pics as well?

On the 3 systems that he has done for me, the labor was always between $100-$175.

So it should probably be between $50-100 considering mine is a simple 1 piece weld on type of job?
