Nicee! look at that cutoff.
I plan on getting HID's but i would get it for vision purpose rather than looks (blue color)
So i may lean toward the 4500k ish type

wut kind of lip do u have? How is the ground clearance?

The stongard is awaiting install.. a little too cold today to put it on. They say the lens should be at least 60 degrees if I'm not mistaken.. thanks for the heads up tho.

The lip is from Racing Dynamics. Ground clearance isn't bad at all.. at least not yet :rolleyes:

Got any pics from far away at night? Also, can you take a pic from inside your car looking out of the windshield so I can get an idea of how far the HID's let you see before they cut-off.

How long did it take you to install?

Install was relatively painless.. including prep time for getting the new bulbs and such in the housing I would have to go with maybe 2-2.5 hours? Prep time being about and hour and install about 1-1.5.

Not the most exact figures.. either way, make sure you have someone to help you while doing it. An extra brain/set of hands is a bonus. I've got more pics of the setups etc if needed :D

Were the bulbs the Phillips Ultinon bulbs?

Ballasts were Phillips as well?

Were the bulbs molded to the base or glued?

The bulbs were indeed Philips Ultinon and the ballasts were Philips as well. I pretty sure they were modled to the base since they has really thick high quality wires covering the base. I believe I have some pics on the comp at home somewhere... I will dig them up for you once I get home after work :alright
