WTB: E36 or E30 for CHEAP

Friend totalled his Civic the other day and wants me to ask around for him. After being in my car he wants something simliar, however I know a decent E36 will run a lot more than $5.5/6k

I have found a lot in the 5.5-6k range. He definantly can get a nice one. An E36 and an E30 are two completely different cars. E36 grips, E30 slips. E30's are a lot of fun, but an E36 is a lot more practical. Let me know what you would be interested in specificly, and I think I can help you.
