Kriet, you really should check out the Beaverun site. It's probably going to be a mad house this year because it is the first real motorsport park anywhere near Pittsburgh. But it should be a fun year up there. To my understanding, the CCA is going to be very involved in event promotion. I'll be back in the area for good here soon, so I'll let you know how it is.

dude, go to Mid-Ohio. Great race track to test your skills. Isn't too far from Pittsburgh.
Rausch Creek, although I've been waiting 2 years for the place to open. Maybe we'll finally get to race there this year.

No go on rausch creek yet, the locals are fighting the building of it. There was a writeup in the paper this week about it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed tho!

Beaver Run is a great track, and it will be even better this year. I instructed at the one and only school the Allegheny Valley BMW Club had last year and it is a fun track - it is like a big go-cart track. It takes 30 minutes to get there from downtown. Tentative dates for 2003 are June 6-8 and August 16-17.
