Behold the venerable BMW M5. Motoring enthusiasts and drivers-alike need no introduction to what may be the finest all around sport sedan ever engineered. Other cars lesser and greater girth & performance capacity tremble at the merest mention of this beast. The M5's S62 V8 throws down 400 horsepower and 369 foot-pounds of torque at a mere 3,500 rpm...Heresy! Not before and not since has there been a more-elegant combination of engineering and accoutrements packaged in one car. As dominating as the M5's engine can be, it has all of the docility necessary to be driven on a daily basis. The miles accumulated by this M5 are well-maintained miles I might add. This car was a previous CPO BMW and was serviced at one BMW dealer all of its life. Included with the car are all the invoices up to 100,000 miles. Since 87,000 miles alone, the AC compressor, clutch & transmission have all been replaced. This M5 needs nothing. Both BMW's records and CARFAX's records will show that this M5 was serviced regularly to say nothing of (clearly) being taken care of: Note the absences of ingress/egress wear on the leather, nearly new tires, no anomalies, no accidents, no leaks, no rattles, no stories....I could go on and on. BMW outfit the M5 with (nearly) every conceivable option: xenon headlights with spray-washers, moonroof, auto rain-sensor, supple-leather covered seating with power & memory for the driver & power for the passenger, Alcantara headliner, heated seats, tilt wheel, cruise control, sport steering wheel with integrated telematics/audio/cruise functionality, split-folding rear seats, //M-audio upgrade, front and rear park distance control, 16:9 (widescreen) navigation screen, onboard computer and just about every modern automobile safety system designed to keep this modern-marvel of engineering on the road and to keep the occupants safe. If anyone interested, you can CLICK HERE FOR A PERFECT CARFAX REPORT OF THIS M5. (http://www.inlacal.com/2001m5/carfax.doc) Lastly, I want to point out the color combination: BMW calls this finish Carbon Black Metallic. To me it is more of a midnight-blue metallic. In either case, it is a beautiful timeless color that suits this cars menacing capabilities. I've taken 190+ pictures because I realize that buying a car online or from a distance can be a leap of faith. I'm respectfully asking all interested parties to take this sale seriously: No tire-kickers or low-ballers. To that end, if you have any questions, at all, feel free to contact me (Chris) directly at 818.613.1122.
This is not a dealer car. I have the title, in hand, ready for the new owner. The first $25,500 takes it.
