I am putting my 1987 BMW 325, 5-speed, 2 door Coupe for sale. The car is located in Worcester, Ma. I bought it in August of ‘06 with 152,xxx miles on it, it now 159,826 miles on it, but runs very well for its age and mileage. There are minor problems, such as an oil leak caused by a leak in the rear main seal. It also has a slightly irregular idle, which only happens when you first drive the car after a few hours of it not being driven, and disappears after about 10-15 minutes of driving. It sounds like you are revving the engine slightly when this occurs, it does not affect the way the car drives one bit. There is also a hole at the top of the gas tank, which prohibits you from filling the tank up to full with gas. I have been filling it up half way and driving it around since August with absolutely no problem. The oil leak is a very small one. I have only had to put one quart of oil in the car due to the leak. I have also changed the oil once, so I guess you can say I have had to replace the oil in it twice since August. There are three minor areas of rust, one of them being the trunk, there are a couple rust spots around 1-2 inches in diameter. The other rust area is right above the front drivers side wheel well. There are also a few very small spots on the hood as well. All are minor, and the car still looks great. The interior is very well maintained, with the exception of a couple cracks in the dashboard, which is extremely common for these cars. Also, the top of the shift knob recently broke off, so I super glued it on, and used black duct tape to secure it even more. You can not see it unless you are sitting inside the car, looking right at it. The car came with a Dinan performance chip, which gives it a little extra giddy up. As soon as I got the car I put brand new brakes on it, and a new power steering pump. I have all records of anything that has been done to the car, since the previous owner had it up to now. In January, I put a brand new cat back exhaust on it. It is in excellent running shape, and looks to be that way for years to come. PM me if you're interested and want to come check the car out.
