Hi Everyone,
This is my first post and would like to ask a few questions. My wife and I are about to order an '07 335i Coupe (Montego Blue, Light Beige, Dark Wood, Sports, Premium, ...) and are wondering when the '08s usually come out. If ordered today the salesman says we will wait about 12-14 weeks. If that is close to the '08s time, then we may wait.
I have owned lots of cars in my life, but never a German car. I have had nothing against them, i have really enjoyed some fine Japanese cars. I currently have a 2000 Acura NSX that I think is the most fun car in the world to drive.
We tested the 335 a few weeks ago and I was really impressed. My wife will be using it as her daily (15 mile) driver.
Any comments or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well, 12-14 weeks puts your delivery in June sometime. The new models years typically start showing up in September/October, which is about four months longer. It may have the same lead time for ordering, so if you placed your order in June you could have one of the first ones. I think it's worth the wait, but if you are leasing it wont really matter.
You own one of my all-time favorite cars, the Acura NSX! Please share with me your experiences with this vehicle, I am seriously considering taking the plunge in a few years.

Thanks for the info. It may make a diference.
I tried to post a pic of my NSX but after posting and writing a nice review I was told (via popup) that i do not have permission to post pics or urls. AND i lost all that i wrote.
Anyway the NSX is a great car that handles and corners like no other car i have driven. The engine note right behind your ears is very intoxicating. The vtec kicks in at about 5600 rpm and feels like a turbo. My friend has one that he modded to over 530 hp at the wheels. It is a monster.
I do have the NSX up for sale at $60K. It is Monaco Blue Pearl (very rare) -- about the same color as BMWs Montego Blue. Only 11K miles and in flawless condition.
Thanks again for the info...

I would say that one good thing about the 08 is that more little gremlins might be worked out.

I saw a red NSX today in Sterling and was wondering at the start of the thread if it was yours, but apparently it was not. Either way, it was hot. I love those things.
