PCH above pacific pallisades is pretty nice.

at the beach in newport, especially when it has been 80 degrees recently, would look good to the east coast boys.

the 241/261 toll roads around irvine are new and not very crowded, if you want some high speed stuff.

It's about time PBMW came to the West Coast... we don't rice out our rides as much. (No offense to the non-riced East Coasters) Oh, and if you wanna feature a semi-stripped E30 325i with almost no mods, feature mine! Just ignore the "custom" bodywork.

Thanks for the location tips!! I'll be sure to pass on the info.

Update:

The editor will be contacting most of you directly..He liked most of the cars that were interested..

Hopefully, he will be impressed enough to return to Cali in the future!! They usually shoot mainly on the East Coast..

Is this for SoCal only? I know of an E46 M3 with no pic's on the net that is pretty kick ass.

What exactly is PBMW? Thats awsome that they are shooting in LA. You could try in santa monica, like around the beach or pier. or malibu. or any parking garage :12:

mike

Performance BMW Magazine (PBMW) is a monthly publication imported here from Europe. Sister mags are Performance Bike, Performance VW and Banzai mag.

They are expensive to buy and subscribe to, over here.

A number of East Coast rides have already been featured and they have finally been approved to come over to LA to shoot some features.

This mag helped me get into some other mags and land some sponsorships..

Greg Emmerson from PBMW is looking for Jinesh Dharamsey from Virginia. He is supposed to have a Hamann widebody E46.

If anyone has his contact info please forward it to me.

Thanks..:D

I'd suggest they arrange to take some pictures of the sweet BMW 507 that the Blackhawk Museum has on display, but my impression is that PBMW wouldn't be interested since it doesn't have a Playstation installed. :awink:
