oil leak, rear righ side

This morning i have noticed a drop of black oil (engine oil)? at the rear right side of the car. It doesn't seem to be leaking excessively, infact its the first time i've noticed it during the day if i park the car and leave it theres no leaks. I usually however get water leaks but that's from the air con? Any ideas?

edit: one more thing, i topped up my oil a couple of days ago due to it being low. I've always used Mobil1 ever since i got the car but since it was low, i had to use what i had, something good but not great.

your best bet would be to lift the car up, and look to see where the leak is coming from.

with only a drop leaking it would be hard to see. I'd clean the engine bay real nice and wait a few days before you look. It will be much easier to see exactaly where it is coming from.

If I'm reading you correctly (right rear of car, not engine bay), you need to check cv joint boots and output shaft seal on that side, as well as check for brake fluid leaks.

could be a blown shock leaking oil too...
