I'm a total newb and have been hearing several people talking about the M50 Manifold. This is off the 325, right? What's so great about it? Pros/Cons? Cost? Ease of Installation? Anything else?
Thanks.

Thanks. Plenty on the subject if you search. The M50 manifold is less restrictive, so helps the M52/S52 breath batter, more HP at the top end. People sell kits to make the plumbing eaiser.

Is there any loss in installing it? I heard someone mention torque loss?

Ugh this question has been beat into the ground a thousand times.
Torque loss at lower RPMS wo/ a software upgrade. W/ software upgrade there will be no lower RPM torque loss.

the m50 manifold has the same bolt pattern as the m52 intake manifold but has larger intake runners, create more air intake.
www.m50manifold.com sells kits to help with the transistion, and he is a member here on the forum, and also a sponsored vendor. He started making the kits for a few people, and so many were interested he turned it into a small business on the side.
if your mechanically inclined, very easy process, and kit comes with 20+ page instructions with pictures to guide u through the process, and he also has 24 hr cell phone tech support, if needed
you do lose some torque down low, the hp gained up top though is worth it, unless you do a lot of daily driving in town, and dont do some other mods to make up for the switch, as in software, and other small engine mods (pulleys, FDK, intake, exhaust, etc)
m50 by far is the best bang for buck mod on an m52 or s52 engine, to gain HP
