For sale - 1997 BMW 328i Convertible “Luxury Edition”, 119K miles, 5-speed man, clean carfax/title, smog-checked, and registration paid until Jan 08. Vehicle built in 07/97 and per Carfax not put into service until 03/98. I want a BMW Enthusiast to purchase this rare vehicle. Vehicle located in San Ramon, CA.
Special options specific to Luxury Package:
16 x 7-inch sport alloy wheels
Nappa Leather Upholstery
Chrome trim (door handles, power window switch surrounds, speaker grille surrounds and pushbuttons for the handbrake and ashtray)
Walnut wood trim (center console, the passenger side dashboard and the gearshift knob)
M3 aerodynamic package (front air dam, rear air diffuser, and wide M body moldings)
Aegean Blue exterior color (exclusive to this model)
Standard Rollover package
The good:
All options work, including top with no leaks. Also many recent repairs which include:
3/20/07 - New rear brake rotors, new parking brake.
02/27/07 @ 118,873 – Replaced rear trailing arm bushings (RTAB). Total $ 309.90.
12/15/06 @ 118,253 - Oil change, thermostat, thermostat housing, 2 radiator hoses, new coolant, new coolant level sensor, new front arm bushings. Total - $951.70
8/26/06 @ 115,093 - Oil change, new battery. Total - $ 105.34
6/22/06 @ 113,464 - Front Brakes (2 OEM rotors, OEM pads, 1 front sensor), rear brakes (resurfaced rotors, OEM pads, rear sensor). Total - $ 857.48.
The bad:
- Front leather seats are worn on side bolsters, but better than most 10 year old BMW’s.
- A little road rash on front fascia, a few dings, but otherwise strait body and paint very good.
