I need some help. I would love to find some nice 18", lightweight wheels for my 335 that are 1000.00 or less for 4. I will track the car every other month or so but it's mainly my DD.
The stock wheels seem to be as light as the lower cost wheels I can find that fit the 335: Front=24.7 lbs. ea. - Rear=26 lbs. ea.
I would love to have another set of wheels that are lighter. Any suggestions?

i dont think you can find any in 18s for under 1k..kosei's are 17s and would run for 800..
ssr's and bbs's are your best bet for light weight wheels, but you need to be willing to spend about 1300 or so

You guys are awesome. I now have an extra 1000 dollars.
I thought this would be the case.
BTW. yod88, Where do you get light BBSs for 1300 or so?
I spoke too soon. I found 18" Kosei K3s at TireRack.com. They're 20.4 lbs. ea. & $279 ea. Opinions?

dude jump on the ssr gt7 for the e90..they are on closeout for $200 each
they weigh 18 lbs
edit..nevermind i just figured out i was looking at the wrong model..it doesnt fit the 335.
i was just throwing a number with the bbs's..but you could prolly find a set on craigslist or ebay in that range
the kosei k3's would look good IMO..i just saw the volk re30s on your model :drool so nice, at 17 lbs a piece and that look..cant beat it..too bad the price is 700 a wheel..

The 17X8.5 will fit in the K1 at 199.00 each. Otherwise the Kosei K3 at 279.00 would be the best that I have.

Jim,
I just noticed an Enkei Racing Series NT03-M (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/wheelDisplay.jsp?title=Enkei+Racing+Series+NT03-M+Bright+Silver+Paint&image=/images/wheels/enkei_racing/swap/enkei_nt03_bs_ci3_l.jpg) at tirerack that weighs in at 19.4 for 18"X8 and a little more for 18X9. They're 289.00 and pretty cool IMO.
Any thoughts on these?
Thanks for your help on this.

Tires make a big difference as well. The old tires that i use to have were 28lbs each and the new ones i just put on my car are 22lbs. Alot of people would kill to loose 6lbs unsprung on each wheel!

Good point.
SleepRM3, The Vorshlag wheels look cool. I'll wait to see when they're available.
KirkoK has a point. Wait an extra month and get the wheels I really want: The SSR C-RSs or some BBS wheel.
Thanks for all the input.
