The car has roughly about 132,000 miles on it as it sits. The original odometer had been broken at 108,000 and it was never replaced until I got the car. The new Euro odometer is reading 144,000 now. The reason I am selling is because I have some other things go on that I need to plan for and really could use the extra cash. Plus this car cant even get in my new driveway and I DONT want to park it on the street. I really dont want to sell the car, but I need to. Now for the pics:
Exterior:
The overall body is in great shape to be 17 years old. It is by no means in mint condition, but it shows well above average for its age. It does have flaws which are expected with this age of car. To be mint, the car would need a respray. I wanted a MINT E30 so I went around getting quotes for paint jobs. The car doesnt need much body work if any at all. There are a couple "deep" nicks in the paint that would have be taken care of but thats mainly it as far as the body flaws go. The worst part about the paint is on the rear quarters and the rear bumper. The rear bumper has lost the clearcoat completly on top. Its still silver, but without clearcoat. The rear quarters are a mystery to me. I really dont know what is going on with them. At first I thought it was the clearcoat, but after I looked at it closly I noticed that the flaws are under the clearcoat. It still feels smooth as glass through the whole panels. If the clear was coming off or what have you, I would think you would be able to see/feel where its fading. At most angles the rear quarters look flawless and have alot of shine. Its only when you are looking a few different angle or direct that you notice them. I have gone over the car many times and I cant find any rust other than what is on the sunroof and the hood. On the hood is a VERY small rust bubble that has come up over time. The PO told me about this and scared me, but after I saw it I realized it was very minimal. The front spoiler has some paint fading but is otherwise in great shape. Like I said before, I planned on making the car MINT so these flaws didnt distract me in the least bit. I will include BOTH sunroofs with the car as well.

Interior:
I would rate the interior about a 8 out of 10. The front seats are in good shape and very comfy to sit in for a long time. I was planning on selling these and installing either Recaro Pole Positions or doing some Recaro SRDs with M-tech cloth. The rear seat is in decent shape as it does have a few tears on it. For the rear seat to fit in with the cage installed I had to cut the side posts on the rear seat and fold them a little bit inward. The seat fits fine with the cage in but is useless as its hard to get back there. The dash does have a couple cracks in it. It had a smaller crack when I bought the car but due to the car being in below freezing climate a few times has made the cracks bigger. The car was from FL so it never got the "colder" weather that we have here in TN in the winter. The carpet is currently out of the car which is actually a good point. If the new buyer wants the cage in the car, I will have to cut the carpet in 4 spots for it to fit correctly with the cage in. If the buyer doesnt want the cage, the carpet can be put down just like stock. I also have 4 brand new floormats I will sell to the new buyer if they decide against the cage. The center console and ebrake console are perfect with no flaws. The headliner is flawless. All the doorpanels are in great shape. I am going to clean the cloth as it is a little dirty from sitting in the dusty ole garage. I also have another pair of E30 sport seats that are in need to be recovered I will throw in for a little extra if the buyer wants them.

Motor:
The engine runs great. I have had no complaints out of the motor at all in my ownership. The cooling system crapped out on me but all that has been fixed. I went through and replaced the radiator, ALL hoses, thermostat, thermostat housing and gaskets. I have a new water pump as well but I didnt see a need to do this yet. The PO just did a new water pump a little less than a year ago and has worked fine since. If I remember correctly, he had a problem with the water pump leaking at some point but just to clairify, I have not had the car leak since I have replaced everything. The car does leak some oil but only after not being driven for quite some time. I drove the car for a week or so everyday and I didnt have any oil leaks. Then I let it sit later on for about 2 weeks and I noticed it was leaking a little bit. The car throws no codes when I plug in my diagnostic tools.

Drivetrain:
The car shifts very smooth even with the Z4 shifter. It is short, but its very easy to get use to and drive well. The PO told me about the rear end making noises during harder acceleration. I have not noticed these noises at all at any time in my ownership. Even when I had nothing but the drivers seat in I still didnt hear any bad noises. The clutch is still very tight as well.
Suspension, Wheels, and Tires:
The car is sitting on 225/45/16's. During hard acceleration and also harsh incline/angles the rears do rub. The car is VERY VERY low. Its really much lower than many of the other E30s you will see. To solve the rubbing issues I would reccomend either going down to a 40 series tire or move down to 15 inch wheels. I was throwing around the idea of getting in on the GB for the Ronal LS's as they would look great on this car. The cars ride is very harsh, but in a good way! It really does stick in the corners and is a blast to drive.

http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/1607/dsc01301rb6.jpg
Overall this car is very nice and well above average for its age. It seems like alot of flaws above as I was speaking, but it really sounds much worse than it is. The car does not have any physical paperwork records from the PO, but I have started a pile of my own. :) Orignally I was not wanting a car with zero records but I got to thinking that this car really has more records than others. This car has been on this forum for quite some time now and its really easy to find everything about it on here. I know the PO cared for the car very much and posted many times over about the progress of the vehicle. That is the reason I bought it. I knew if I needed to find out something on it, there is a 98% chance that it is posted up on this forum in an old thread.
Pricing:
I am willing to sell the car a few different ways, but its really up to you as to how you want it to come. As far as price goes, I am looking to get $7650 as it sits now. If you want it to come another way, ask me. Will take a partial trade for the right 2002 as well. :D
Feel free to email me or PM me if you have any questions. I am on here at least 3 times a day so my response time is quick. This is definatly one of the nicer E30s and is easily one of the most well known. I have many more pics of the car so let me know what you want to see. I didnt post all of them because I dont want make the server crash! Thanks for looking!
