can somone post pics of tire sizes....

ok what i am asking is can someone post pics of tire sizes of 225/40/18, 235/35/18, 235/40/18, 245/35/18, 245/30/18,...........I am trying to get an idea of what they will look like on my 325i.....I have ACS type III one piece rims 8.5X18's with 43mm offset for all 4....i had 225/40/18's on them ....and looking for a different size to go on them now....

and what about clearance? i was hoping to drop the front a like an 1" to 2" and the rear a 1" ....anybody know of a problem with those size of tires and clearance? ....should I offset the front and rear on sizes of tires?

You need the help of a real, live person at a custom wheel and suspension shop, not an online forum. And even with all the members and guests on this forum, I'd bet that there aren't E36's out there with all those different tire sizes on them. 25.1, 24.5, 25.4, 24.75, 23.8 are the overall diameters of the tires you listed. Only 1 inch difference in diameter form the smallest to the largest. Then you have to factor in that different tire manufacturers making 2 tires of the same size may be slightly different diameters, blah blah, blah. You really should have a person helping you with this.

I agree, there isnt all that much difference in sidewall weights and widths to be able to tell the difference in a picture. Especially with different people taking them, from different angles, from different distances, with different cameras and different size pictures.
