For those with H7 SuperFogs HELP!

i have had my superfog conversion for almost a year now, and i love them. However the bulbs keep burning out, i'm using the bulbs recommend by Seedster and yet i can only get about a month of life out of them.
any suggestions on bulb choice or possible fixes? thanks a lot:clap:

buy a better quality bulb. I used the $10 dollar Ebay ones and they only lasted 2 months. I'm using a better brand..Nokyas and they've lasted 4 months so far...*knock on wood*

are you using hiper industry bulbs? i had the original autodynamic optiblue's he recommended and those lasted me well over a year...the hiper industry bulbs lasted me just 3 short months

:D I use the Cool Blues by Sylvania at Pep Boys. They are hyper white and don't have any of that blue tint just pure white. I have had them for over a year and no problems. I also removed the refelectors inside to make them even brighter.

I have heard of a new blub out and they cost about $25.00 per blub at Pep Boys. They are Silver Star by Sylvania.

i have the cool blue bulbs by sylvania as well. excellent bulbs in my opinion. pure white light that does a good job of lighting up the road. i removed the reflector inside the foglight. if they are burning out maybe you are getting water or something else inside the housing.

I've run the SilverStar in my M3 - very nice, but my Hella OptiLux's were just a bit whiter.. I run them in the 540/6 now, with very nice results.

Try www.powerbulbs.com Free and damn fast shipping! Also I don't think you can get H7 SilverStars in the US. PowerBulbs is based in the UK. Try the Philips VisionPlus as well. I have them and they are very white and bright. SilverStars are Osram-Sylvania's answer to the Philips' VisionPlus so I think they are about the same...
