Hey all

For those of you looking to bulletproof your trannys, Level 10 (www.levelten.com) was one of the few games in town.

However, I spoke to Ty at IPT (http://www.importperformancetrans.com/index.shtml) and it looks pretty good.

2450 for a fully built performance tranny (input to exceed 400-500 hp/tq )

1 week turnaround (if done in-house). 1 year, unlimited mileage warranty on work.

1294 for valve body+custom torque converter.

Tempting for those of you who want to go FI and keep the slushy.

Hi was just wondering which one you went with? Did you have to send your tranny in? would you know if its posible to just buy the parts from them? At how much power would you need to have this done to the tranny? was thinking of getting the valve body+custom torque converter. Was already decided on doiing a ts SC setup but right now im not sure again. now trying to think between a turbo or a storker kit. Wat parts of the tranny would i need to ahve done to do this?

I have actually decided to return the car to stock and get it ready for sale. You could get send the valve body to them for modification and purchase the torque converter. Sending the tranny from the PI might be VERRRRRY EXPENSIVE.

The problem would be in the "tuning" of the valve body to your specs. This is best done inhouse from what I understood.
