Question for you non-VANOS M50 people

I have been given a set of VDO gauges for oil pressure and oil temp but they car they were from had VANOS, so the sending unit adapter for oil pressure is set up to go inline for VANOS oil supply line.

So my question is where are you guys without VANOS tapping into for oil pressure and what adapter are you using?

I was thinking of getting this from Jegs but I don't know where I can tap into.

Search on VDO and you will find al ot of specific DIY's or kits that you can buy. E36 M3 forum and track has a lot too.

I was just wondering if anyone had first hand experience with putting an oil pressure gauge on their non-VANOS M50.
