Replacing a gas filter on 1997 318i...Where is it located?:help This thing is HUGE!:eyecrazy

THe filter is loated on the drivers side right under the drivers seat. It requires 3 hose clamps (philips screwdriver), 10mm socket for bracket, removal of #18 fuse for fuel pump, and a bucket to catch the fuel.

Thanks...I am assuming you mean under the car under the drivers seat right?:D Or do you mean its actually under the seat inside the car (not safe...lol...):D

run the car with the fuse pulled, this will depressurize the system (and stall out the car) so you get less gas in your face.

Lil gas in the face never hurt anyone, just stay away from open flames. :D
