I currently have Bridgestone Turanza ER30 tires and am in need of new ones for the rear. I was either thinking about getting the same tire again or thinking about going with Michelin Pilot Sport. The size of my tires are 225/45/17 incase that makes a difference. =] Which do you think is a better tire? Also, weird question, but if I were to go with a different type tire for the back than what I have on the front, would it make the car ride weird?

im riding on falken ziex's on the front and bridgestones on the back and it rides fine. I think ppl have all the same for more aesthetic reasons and as long as the have the same performance quality then they should be fine...not like winter tires on the front and racing slicks on the rear.

I had the PS2 on the Z coupe and have Pilot Sport on the 99M
I think the regular pilot sport bites
the PS2 rocks if you can swing the note

I took off a perfectly good set of Michelin Pilot Sports last summer when I went to 18's (about 70% tread left). I replaced them with Kumho's and could not be happier.:D

I liked them enough to do the same with my other BMW, Hey I'm not racing anyone in the 3 or 7.... My opinion is there an excellent low cost alternative.

And I can tell the difference in ride quality or handling.
