chip question

Have any of you guys tried to pass California smog with an aftermarket chip?
If so, which one. What effect does it have on your mileage

I have passed smog with a chip on multiple vehicles. But if you were really worried about it, its takes like 10 minute to swap back to your original chip for smog. Gas mileage will only be affected if your right foot suddenly becomes heavier after you install your chip.
