Alright guys. I am this >< close to getting a 3.2l m3 engine with 5 spd tranny. Now I need to find a shop in the area who could do the swap within my price range (pretty much not breaking the bank and going after my left nut).
I know James has sent me a number for his guy (calling him in the morning) but I'm just curious if ya'll know anybody else who could do this for me
....and if it's someone with a 318...I could make it worthwhile once my 2.8 is pulled :devillook
Thanks guys....oh hey look...boobies! :boobies :D

Call up Autothority, they MAY be able to do it for you, but I'm not sure if they do engine swaps. I know they work on turbos and blowers. Here's their number and address.

Too bad you aren't closer to Detroit. I would do it for around $800.

Well, hmmm, maybe I'm not so close to getting this engine/tranny setup yet. :az: Engine was hit (Vanos unit is cracked) thus has to be replaced. My pops is kind of wary of buying an engine with a "beatup" history. So he won't pay for the other half of it...
Sigh. Still looking I guess. (Anyone have a 5spd tranny and m3 rear subframe per chance?)

Yeah I've been talking with him about it. I want it, but I need to find a 5spd tranny and subframe first :az:

Chris,
Check out VAC Motorsports (http://vacmotorsports.com/) They just bought some brand new M3 motors right from BMW NA. They pull, work, and install motors all the time. Ask for Tony or Armand Salloum.
Tony is the racer/performance guy (He's doing Baby's motor now)
Armand is the service/electronics guy
The phone # are:
Verna's Auto Clinic: (215)462-2996
VAC Motorsports: (215)462-4666
They know their shit.
