1988 BMW E30 M3. Hennarot over Sand Beige leather THE LEGEND IN GERMAN TOURING CARS. OVER 1500 Victories and 100 CHAMPIONSHIPS. Considered in the top 25 MOST INNOVATIVE AND NOTEWORTHY DESIGNS OF THE 20th CENTURY by the International Automotive Press. Motor, gearbox, rear diff. and much more pulled from my first E30 M3, also Henna, which I purchased from a friend in 2001. He was the second owner, vin#WBSAK0301J2195146, and had owned it from 1990-2001. After years of begging he finally sold it to me and six months and several thousand dollars later I crashed it in Latigo Canyon, Malibu. After getting out of the hospital, I immediately located the Henna M3 you see here out of New Mexico. It was rough and a bit incomplete as far as records, but it was Henna and I knew I would be changing over everything I could. The motor etc. swap was performed by the renowned SOUTHBAY INDEPENDENT BMW. Countless man hours and ALL appropriate upgrades with NO EXPENSE SPARED. I also had the M3 re-sprayed the original Henna. ALL RECORDS including ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. I am a Six Year BMWCCA Member and have adored and cherished this car for years before I owned it. Maniacal attention to detail. Immaculate interior, motor and trunk. Undercarriage very clean and dry, NO LEAKS. Any time I felt something was amiss, I took it to the shop for an evaluation. Virtually all plastic/rubber replaced. Spent a great deal of money at Santa Monica BMW on the smallest of gaskets and grommetts. Drivers seat is typically cracked and worn. Passenger saeat is great as is rear. The only cosmetic upgrades I have made are a German Spec Evo Deadpedal, Evo Steering Wheel, Sparco Strut Brace, Dinan Performance Chip and Bavarian Autosport Cupholder.I also purchased from my supplier in Germany a Euro Rear Fog Light Swith and Rear Euro Taillight Housing. The housing was installed, already set up for the rear fog light, but we never got to wiring for the switch. EVERYTHING functions as it should. An absolute shining and nicely sorted example of one of the winningest cars in German Touring Car History. I have loved every minute of owning and driving this M3. I would often take the cover off of it and stand in the garage and just stare at it. NEVER thought I'd be selling it. Would see other people selling theirs and would scratch my head in amazement. I have an EXCEL Spreadsheet chronicling EVERYTHING I have ever done to it, before and after motor/gearbox swap as well as over 40 pics I would be happy to send any serious potential buyers and would encourage all those interested to take a look. It is my sincere hope that this E30 M3, a true legend in motorsports, goes to an enthusiest like myself. Local buyers obviously encouraged to inspect.
