I have a 2002 Mini Cooper. It is Silk Green with a white roof, white white rims, and white mirrors. It has a Rattling Sunroof and heated seats. StouffvilleZ3 says it's light blue but it is not. This is my first import car and other than a few small problems it is a great little car!!!!

just got her today, for Christmas!

my dad had me take out the trash after opening presents, and there she was. I have been in love with MINI's since the new ones came out in 01. I currently have an '84 Pontiac Fiero [and before you start in on that, it's my first love.] named Rush, and she's what got me into cars. having to constantly work on your car either makes you fall in love with them, or hate their very guts. I chose the first one. I love my little American mid-engined RWD car. and now I have this little baby to shower with affection! anyways, back to my MINI. One of my dad's employees faked that his wife was looking into a MINI, so I printed out my dream MINI off and gave it to him, because he asked for it. [this is back a couple months] apparently my mom faxed that spreadsheet to MINI dealerships around California, and got exactly what I wanted! So I now have my dream MINI Cooper S! [menos the Tuning Kit... but that shall come later]

Wondering if anyone has had electrical issues with their S. Dealer is struggling to track gremlins out of my electrical system. 1,800 miles on an '06 and 6 days of the first month have been in shop. Harmon Kardon looks like it should be running fine...all functions operational except, no sound. Oh, yeah, it's intermittent. Totally unpredictable when the key is turned. Might get sound, might not. Dealer is trying to find "chafed wires", but I'm not sure they're on the right track. Curious to know if others have heard of this problem. Otherwise, the car (and the loaner) is a blast. LTD. slip, custom wheels, black on black...leather and lots of toys. can't match it in fun per pound! Can't wait to get it back.

Last dyno put me at about 190 at the crank, that was before the CAI though so I'd guess about 197-200 now. Not bad for a 2500 lb car

Much more to come. Next on my list are bigger brakes, exhaust and software upgrade. And of course... track time!

What a lot a fun. I don't miss my e30 as much. What I don't understand is most of the lot was filled with automatics. Well, the same with BMW's now, but this thing is too much fun not to have a manual. Though, I am having to get used to changing to 6th gear.

Ours has white 16" wheels, so I am thinking of changing them to 17"'s.

Well, I've wanted one since I first saw the Italian Job in the theaters, but it never really fit my needs before, and then we had kids and it fit my needs even less. But with the kid-hauling land rover getting 13mgs, the need for a gas-saver came up and since my wife hates riding in my e21's and e30's (except for the convertibles :) I took the opportunity to look for my ideal S!

And after a long search I found my R56...a 2008 S in Astro Black metallic with Redwood leather and piano black interior trim (the only one I could find). Certified and with only 35k, its completely stock but I got the dealer to add on the roof racks.

It has the Cold weather, Sport, and Premium packages and 17" webs.

Very nice. I just sold my '06 325i and will be picking up a MINI today... also planned on hitting up the chrome with PlastiDip, as I did the same thing on my 3 series. That stuff is amazing if used properly.

I own a 2012 JCW Pepper White with the Sports Package (Black Springs. I heard the Red Springs ride too hard) factory Red Racing Stripes going from the Spoiler, Roof and ending on the Hood. My first new car! It only had 6 miles when I picked it uplast summer 5 days before my B-Day. I always owned a #2 or #3 BMW. I gave myself a birthday, pre-retirement B-Day gift to myself. It's the stock JCW Photo on the www.miniusa.com (http://www.miniusa.com) website. I changed my mirror caps to black. It's definiftley fun to drive! It's great on gas until you want to turn on the Sport button...LOL. That's when I get into my "Spirited Driving Mode..." I might drive her to Montreal for the F1 race coming up in June. She can truly move! I'm very happy with moving down to my grassroots 1.6 Litre days. At my age, wrench time is not as much on the weekends like I use to do.

Recently moved from Atlanta to Waynesville, NC. Real BMW/Mini country. We have a 2004 S, bought new. Green with white top, cloth seats, no other options that I recall.

Currently 50,000 miles. Ran through two sets of runflats and now have Kumho Extas, much better. Have had both window regulators fail and replaced. Air conditioner compressor internal seal failed at about 35,000 miles and dumped plastic crud in whole AC system. Otherwise no issues.

Long term keeper, I think. Now looking for contacts and activities and a good shop here in the mountains.

We just bought a 2008 6 speed Mini with 98k miles. It runs good and seems to be in good shape except for some clear coat peal on the hood. Is there anything special I need to look out for? Carfax lists a fairly complete service history. I am also on the Z forum as we have a 96 Z3.

ok well we have a mini cooper s supercharged black beasty i say we as i was building a hoon mobile for my mum but she passed before I finished it but she did her share of hooning she was a racer and managed a pb top speed of 12.89 at 216kph i managed on a long run a top speed of about 28 I think i got to tyres were rated to 300 so i didn't push anymore plus we needed better gearing it would have been better to get more stuff from the states to put on it but shipping via the shops was soo much so we got some stuff via china and it was good and some stuff via usa and it was good it would be good for someone to to buy the stuff the ship it personally it would be halve the cost anyone wiling to enter into a side hustle with me let me know id love to get some exterior stuff and interior stuff and motor stuff and stiffing suspension type products
