I just removed this from my 1999 528i. Works great. Here's what I have:
1) Non-DSP Alpine Amp - $75
2) (2) Front Door Midrange speakers (the 2.5" ones) - $20 each
3) (2) Front door tweeters with mounting pieces - you'll have to solder on the wire connectors as I needed those for my new setup - $10 each
4) (2) Stock Nokia DVC 5.25" Woofers - $15 each
