Not sure what the support that runs accross the top of the windshield between the A pillars is called but I am getting a wierd noise there. I have a 96 318, its a manual roof. When ever I hit a bump or make a quick turn or stop I have a little nock that occurs. The best way to describe it is that it sounds like a marble ball hitting something. It comes from in front of the drivers head near the visor. In the horizontal beam between the A-pillars,,,Anyone had this happen,

You are missing the little rubber bump stop where the top connects to the windshield frame. Take a look at the passenger side, you will see a little rubber stopper. I bet you do not have one on the driver's side.

I am missing one also. I called the dealer about it and he said nothing like that exists. Typical response on loss gross part!
