i remember seeing a post about a guy who made his amber taillight, into red or he cleared them out. i forget. anyone have the pic and instructions?

Umm, you could always buy the red/clears from CircleBMW.com among others. Probably will look a lot better too.

Like mine? For those who think aftermarket or factory Euros are too common and expensive? Here's what you need:
Candy Apple Translucent paint from a model store
Nice 3M masking tape
A little time.
Mask off what you don't want painted, apply 2 or 3 even coats. Good to go. Mine have been on for 8 months with no fading or discoloration and they match perfectly

I saw some ugly clears with like a dark purple blue light in it...ughh

not handy, but I can take some when I get back into town. They look totally factory, and I like the fact that they are fairly unique and that they cost me about 1 hour of my time and $3.99.
I like looking good, but I have a hard time spending money on things that don't make the car faster or handle better.

so im assuming your turn signal is now candy apple, this isnt illegal right? i dont need cops staring at my taillights lol

for the rear turnsignals, red or orange are usually fine.
