Wow that is really nice - hopefully there's nothing wrong with it mechanically

I'll be going home to SA over spring break. I might give him a call...

I seriously doubt its in enthusiast condition though.

Decent car for the money. Its all the way in SA, too far for me (I'm just north of Dallas).

are you kidding me? I have already planed the logistics of me flying out and driving back with a stop in AZ.
I just wish I knew someone that could verify the condition.

the owner says he just got a BMW indi shop to do a PPI and the only thing wrong was the brakes and some ware on the clear coat over the mirrors.

I'll bet he's BSing.

e36's are scarce in SA. More so with a Manual. An e36 M3 with 58k miles in excellent condition (which is what he describes) and a clean record is worth more than $9500 anywhere, more so in SA for anyone not looking to travel ~300 miles to Dallas or ~100 to Austin.

asking that much for that car in mint condition doesn't make any sense.

I'm in SA for the next few months... I'm gonna go check it out this comming friday if it's still around. I'll let everyone know what my impressions are. Definantly a pre purchase inspection car, though.

Hopefully its hellrot and has clear coat, I bought a Mugellorot (no clear coat) 95 M3 from a guy in Austin several years ago and that Texas sun had taken its toll on that paint.
Got a friend in KC to do a stellar paint detail and it looked amazing but it showed allot of exposure damage from being in the sun.

I think they have something to do with the ware.

Someone is selling a M3 that is a better deal than the one you bought?!! Impossible! I'm in Austin, If I take a look at this I'll report what I find.
