Hey guys, I'm new to the 2002 arena, and need a recommendation on a good aggressive street pad/shoe. I am a big CarboTech fan and I use BobCats on a Subaru on the street, and I love them. I use XP8 on my ITA car, and love them. I may end up sending my current backing plates to them to get some custom pads.

I was wondering if there is already a semi-aggressive pad for street/auto-x use similar to the BobCats in production. I've done some research, but would like to hear first hand experiences and recommendations.

Thanks,
J.D.

I like PBR Metal Masters for an aggressive street pad that can also work for occasional autox. For a more aggressive, racing-oriented pad, check out Hawk Blues. I've also heard good things about Pagid and Ferodo pads for aggressive street/race applications, which might also be available, but I've never tried them.

Note: the OEM pads/shoes are also well rated.

I second the Metal Masters.
