on my 1998 328i with stock 15 inch tires....

do I have options for larger size 15 tires other than the factory stock size of 205/60-15 ???

like maybe 215's or 225's ??

225/55-15

But your stock size does fine. The 225 size adds sidewall roll, tire price, fuel mileage gets worse and grip won't get that much higher.

185/65-15 was the stock size in germany for many E36s, so you'r not that bad ;) In fact, my E36 with 205s has the "wide tires" option.

The width of the stock wheels don't flow very well with wider tires IMO.

Agreed, that's why it gets more sidewall roll. The stocks are 7J wide.

Correct.

My 325 also came with 205/60/15 from the factory. As far as I know only the diesels got the narrower tires.
