last week after doing repeated G-tech testing, about 15 runs back to back, I noticed I could smell my clutch after the last run. I was being rather gentle on it and not slipping it excessively, but I guess that many times will tend to heat it up. The clutch is a new stock sachs replacement with only around 2000 miles on it, and after letting it cool down I can tell that it is fine and it is holding strong but I have noticed the clutch pedal takes a good bit less effort to depress and in general has lost the feel that it used to have, its just easier to press in and it feels what i guess you could describe as mushy now. What can/should I do about it? How exactly do I change the clutch fluid and how much would a shop charge me to do it? Thanks in advance.

15 runs back to back!!! Damn, thats alot! You should of given the car a chance to cool down sufficiently between all those runs.

I'm thinking you might have glazed the friction surface of the clutch and also definitely overheating it way too much. I would say give it few drives and see if it returns to normal. I would definitely try to avoid abusing it again in the near future. If your fluid is new, I don't think changing it would benefit your situation any.

Good luck, and take it easy on her for awhile.
