I want to out my washer fluid tank without the OBC giving me a "low washer fluid" on the OBC. Will taking out the give this or if it doesn't sense a the tank will it just ignore it?

We did this on our race car and pulled the sensor out and have never had a dash light come on. I would double check to be sure. Hope this helps. Later

The level sensor is just a simple switch with a float that triggers the OBC error message. Try disconnecting it - if the OBC gives you the low fluid level warning, just put a jumper in the connector.

Yeah, I just diconnected it and it did gave me the error. So, you are saying that this sensor is just a normally opened circuit? And shorting it would get rid of the error?

Why don't you use a meter and see what the fluid level sensor actually does? Should be pretty easy to figure out...
