I know very well the contrast and colors are overdone, as they were done this way on purpose. It's to help conceal any blemishes that may have been visible in the pictures. In some of them, the adjustments add to the pictures, and in other, they detract. It's the way life goes. Without anymore delay, here she is..

post-process editting in photoshop.
basically, just make an "S" in the Curves, if that makes any sense to you at all.

it was pretty simple actually.

go into image>adjustments>levels.
slightly lighten images that came out too dark.
slightly darken images that came out too light.
click okay.
go into image>adjustments>curves.
add two points to the line, one in the bottom left, and one in the top right.
adjust the two points to form an "s" curve.

you will notice the image start to increase drastically in contrast.
adjust to your liking.
