Whats up guys! I just ordered the M50 intake manifold conversion kit and also the JC Shark Injector chip for my '99 E36 M3 Cabrio. I know the chip gives better throttle response, removes top speed limiter and also raises the rev limit to 7k. Since my car is auto, i know that if i floor it the RPM's will still shift the same as stock. If I put the car in 'M' Mode, will i be able to take it to 7k rpms? Its just a question that just has been in my mind. Thanks guys :)!

when u do the mods do them one at a time to see if each makes a diff on the butt dyno

I would think your shifts would occur @ the higher rev limit unless the shift points are controled by the tranny chip. I'm interested how the shark and M50 mods work out on your car as I my try this myself, be sure to let us know the results when you're done.

sounds good, thanks guys. I cant wait to get it in. I ordered the parts from KO performance and i always talk to John Paul (who is the owner) and they always have great service. I will be doing the K&N Intake and UUC pulleys next :D

I can answer that for you. The shark injector you wont feel or really gain any noticable power. It will raise the rev limit, top speed, and change a few other little things.

The M50 manifold you will notice a difference in power at about 4500 rpm and up. People say you lose low end torque, I didnt notice a difference that much in the low end.
